Our Spring Tag Day event is scheduled for Saturday, 4/25. Tag Day is a fundraiser supporting our entire band program where band students go out into the SHS-zoned community seeking donations. This year's Spring Tag Day will start at 8am and end at 1pm.
We need A LOT of parent drivers for this event. If all band students attend, we need over 35 drivers! Please click below to commit to driving on Saturday, 4/25. All students & drivers will be finished no later than 1pm that day.

Senior Scholarships

Seniors are encouraged to submit an application for the SHS Band Booster Scholarships. Scholarships are open to all senior band students and Senior Color Guard members. Applications are due to Mr. Nicholas no later than Thursday, 4/30!

2026 March Band Color Guard & Percussion Tryouts
Individuals interested in joining the Tribe of Pride Marching Band in Color Guard or Percussion should attend tryouts 21 April through 21 May.
Percussion tryouts will be Tuesdays, 5-7PM (meet in the band room)
Color Guard tryouts will be Thursdays, 5-7PM (meet in the cafeteria)

Wind musicians in grades 9-11 enrolled in Concert Band, Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble classes have a graded performance at the 2026 SHS Graduation that takes place AFTER the last day of school, on Saturday, 5/30 from 7:30-10:30am. Students must discuss any conflict with Mr. Nicholas no later than 5/15 in order to be considered for an excused absence from this performance. There is one Graduation Band rehearsal on Wednesday, 5/27 from 2:15-3pm.

Do you know a company that would be willing to sponsor the band for the 2026-2027 season? There are two sponsorship opportunities available.
Purchase a Band Trailer Drum: Display your pride, memory, or business logo. Drum’s will be displayed proudly on our marching band trailer for 5+ years. Gain widespread exposure at top band events and performances! Plus, receive recognition on our social media channel & website. Drums are $250.00. Please fill out the form here and pay here to purchase a drum.
Yearly Sponsorship: Multiple sponsorship levels are available from $250 to $2,500+. Depending upon sponsorship level, sponsors receive a banner in the stadium, recognization on our website and social media site, recognition in our Showcase Program, showcase tickets, and a table at our showcase event. Yearly sponsors should complete the letter/form here.
